Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi in the evening / night, our representative will meet and greet you at the airport and will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi stands on seven successive cities and is one of the oldest cities in Delhi Agra Jaipur With Amritsar Tourhe world. This history helps one appreciate the scale of the sprawling metropolis. It's a quintessential Indian city, marrying the ancient with the cosmopolitan. Day 2: Delhi - Amritsar
In the morning after breakfast leave for full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Himayun Tomb and Lotus Temple. Also drive past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and other parts of Central Delhi.
In the evening board a train for Amritsar. Reach Amritsar, you will be received and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay
Day 3: Amritsar
In the morning visit the Golden Temple, the most sacred temple for the Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. Also visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrs' Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty.
In the afternoon visit Wagah Border, it's the only road border crossing between India and Pakistan, and lies on the Grand Trunk Road between the cities of Amritsar, India and Lahore, Pakistan. The Wagah border often called the 'Berlin wall of Asia, is a ceremonial border on India–Pakistan Border, where each evening, there is a retreat ceremony called 'lowering of the flags. At that time there is very energetic and thrilling parade done by Border Security Force (B.S.F), India and Pakistan Rangers soldiers. Stay overnight at Amritsar hotel.
Day 4: Amritsar - Delhi - Jaipur
In the morning transfer to Amritsar railway station to board a Shatabdi Exp for Delhi. From Delhi directly drive to Jaipur. Stop on the way for refreshment, reach Jaipur in the evening and check into your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: Jaipur
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and leave for Jaipur Tour. First visit the hilltop fortress at Amer. Ascend the imposing fort on a painted elephant. The Fort, originally built in the 16th century by Maharaja Man Singh encloses superb palaces and a beautiful temple in marble dedicated to the fearsome goddess Kali. One of the main attractions of Fort Amer is its glittering Sheesh Mahal.
In the afternoon, tour the old walled city of Jaipur. Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this ‘pink city' is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa-Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory situated in the heart of the city. Built in the 1700's (A.D), it still looks futuristic. Nearby is the ornate Hawa Mahal (the palace of winds). The old City Palace & its museum display a rare fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, and house a rare collection of paintings, Rajasthani armory and costumes.
Evening visit to Chokhi Dhani: an ethnic village resort (optional). The vitality of Rajasthani folk culture comes alive as children dance rhythmically to the loud tenor of folk songs sung by men and women, festooned in bright clothes. Gaily caparisoned camel, horses and bullock carts offer joy rides. Stay overnight at Jaipur hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur - Agra: 249 kms/150 miles - 5 hours by car
Today in the morning after breakfast drive to Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri (old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty). See the beautiful Jama Masjid / The Buland Darwaza, palace of Queen Jodha Bai, Birbal's (a Minister) Palace. Drive further and reach Agra in the evening. Check into your hotel and relax.
In the evening at sunset take a glimpse of Taj Mahal from Yamuna River side. Stay overnight at Agra hotel.
Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid remainder of the capital in the 16th and early 17th centuries. For any tourist his India Tour is incomplete without Taj Mahal Tour.
Day 7: Agra - Delhi: 205 kms/123 miles- 4 hours by car
In the morning at sunrise visit Taj Mahal: symbol of eternal love. It was built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Take your own time to explore these beautiful monuments.
After breakfast visit Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit Itmad – ul – daulah's tomb: it's a pre taj era marble structure and often compared with Taj Mahal.
In the afternoon drive back to Delhi and directly reach Delhi airport to board your return flight. Your tour comes to end but its sweet memories and vivid colors of India will remain forever.
